Here's a new date for my next “Letter from NY” radio Broadcast which will be on July 4th. The topic is “Rent a Life,” the explosive trend of hiring “experts” (real or invented) to plan and run much of our lives. From wedding planners to the latest take-charge guru called a Wontologist, we're outsourcing our lives at an alarming rate.
I'll be giving you my take on why I believe this handover is happening and why it just may be a fortuitous wake-up call.
Please tune-in on the 4th. for the live broadcast on Southwest Broadcasting at 5pm on www.sirenonline.co.uk or download the podcast at www.southsidebroadcasting.podbean.com  You'll find all of my "Letters" on the left side of the page under "Categories."
As always, I'd appreciate your feedback on this topic or any other in my continuing series of “Letters From NY.”

Cheers,
Annette

My next radio broadcast...Assault on.Women's Rights

An insane rant by an American radio & TV “shock Jock” who called a young female law student “a slut and a whore” for supporting a woman's right to birth control contraception, triggered the next radio broadcast I'll be doing on Wed. 25th. April, between 5pm and 6pm UK time.

Listen in live or download on:  www.southsidebroadcasting.podbean.com

Please tune-in to this important topic and send your comments to me. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all.

Cheers

Hello and Welcome!

Hello! and welcome to this, my first attempt at blogging. So, if you have some helpful suggestions about improving my performance, I'd really appreciate your comments.

The heyday of my career spanned the 60's and 70's. If you go to my website or facebook page, you'll find my biog. and all of my theatre , film and TV credits. But those cold facts don't begin to convey the joy and sense of accomplishment I had starring in “Randall & Hopkirk, Deceased”, appearing with Sir Roger Moore in “The Saint” more times than any other guest actress, with Pat McNee & Honor Blackman in “The Avengers” and all the other shows I did that have now become cult favourites the world over.

I'd love to hear what you think of those series that now are part of British TV's “Golden Age”. Which are your favourites and why? How do they compare to today's TV series? Feel free to ask questions about the productions, the fashions we wore and other items that might interest you about those days.

On my website you'll also find a great collection of photographs from my shows which you can buy. So visit and enjoy.

Well, that's about it for my first outing in the Blogosphere.

Cheers, for now!

Annette
