 The subject of my talk is the exotic civilizations beyond our daily lives as exemplified by Robert “Believe-It-or-Not” Ripley & an obscure Brooklyn academic who spent the majority of her adult life deciphering the language of a long-lost civilization.

Featured is the 2-headed boy from Samarkand & a woman born with a tongue forked like a serpent.  Could you ask for a more intriguing cast of characters?
